I don't know how many points our small guild will get, or be able to earn, but we should probably discuss which perks we want before splurging.

At least the first rank of Cash Flow seems like a must-have to me. Free money to build a large guild bank, and maybe some crafted or AH items? Yes, please.
Have Group, Will Travel also sounds like something we'd use forever, unlike the leveling accelerators (which actually do sound nice for alts, anyway). _________________ Mac Pro 8-Core Xeon, Nvidia 8800 GT, OS X Snow Leopard, Windows Vista Ultimate

Those look like pretty good perks. Any idea on how they are obtained? Hold hands in a circle and chant? Drinking contest? Streaking through Orgrimmar? Some kind of guild team building exercise I'm sure. And, Hi G! _________________ Kilrogg: Marieke - Rogue (retired?); Kikker - Druid; Smoeky - Priest; Tazkty - Warlock; Fourrd - Hunter;

Hey Mari!
I'm not totally sure how we gain guild perks, and I don't think anyone in the beta is 100% sure yet. We all seem to earn experience points for the guild when we do quests. I have a feeling the highest ranks might also require deep raiding and PvP. That would be pretty standard for Blizzard.
It would be nice if our existing characters' histories also counted when the system goes into place. At first, I figured that would be wishful thinking. But imagine a player moving to a new guild. His or her background and value to the new guild is a nice counter to the perks the new guild would offer to the player. Blizzard will have to deal with tallying all of this up, somehow. _________________ Mac Pro 8-Core Xeon, Nvidia 8800 GT, OS X Snow Leopard, Windows Vista Ultimate

I have to say, I like the sound of Guild Mail as well, although, that is what the guild bank is for. _________________ Alliance: Sealgair, Veraghen, Ròcais, Ankala, Segmentvs

At first, these were looking like a talent tree, where we would need to choose how to spend points. Now it's looking like we hit a level and get that reward, period. So level up those alts and pour those (mirrored?) experience points into the guild vat! _________________ Mac Pro 8-Core Xeon, Nvidia 8800 GT, OS X Snow Leopard, Windows Vista Ultimate
